Kolkata Knigh Riders regain IPL title

Kolkata Knight Riders regained the title after a gap of one year, beating Kings XI Punjab by three wickets in the final of the 7th Indian Premier League at Bangalore today. Due to general elections in India, the first leg of the IPL-VII, featuring 20 matches was played at three venues in United Arab Emirates.

The cash-rich T20 tournament returned home on May 2 and the second leg, involving the remaining 40 matches, was played at 10 venues across India. Out of a total of 60 matches, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, hosted three as the adopted home venue of Kings XI Punjab. Following are the results.
